• [Bug]: Java (default frontend): try-with-resources variables (try (Res r = new Res()), var) and catch (AppError e) parameters are never typed, so calls through them get no CALLS edge (maven: 59 first-party calls, BuildSession.build overloads left without callers)

• [Bug]: Python: with <@contextmanager fn>() as t (even -> Iterator[T]), walrus (t := Foo()) and case Foo() as t never type their target, so method calls through it get no CALLS edge

• [Bug]: TS/JS, Java and C# instance field initializers (private readonly logger = new Logger(), n = helper()) are attributed to the file's Module, not the class: callers of the constructor shows the module, and C# initializer calls get no edge at all (nest: 92 edges)

• [Bug]: incremental sync never adds dispatch edges for a new subclass override or Protocol conformer: unchanged callers of self.do_match() or of a Protocol-typed self.client.get() keep their old targets until the project is re-indexed from scratch

• [Bug]: Python, JS/TS and PHP: a bare call inside a method (is_import(leaf), getattr(obj, a), render("x")) binds exact to the enclosing class's same-named method instead of the imported/module function or builtin; rename then leaves a NameError (black 7, rich 7, jinja 10 sites)

• [Feature]: Solidity: index struct, enum, event, custom error and user-defined value types (type Price is uint256); today they have no node (OpenZeppelin contracts: 489 declarations missing)

• [Bug]: Haskell: operator and infix definitions (p1 <|> p2 = …, (<$$>) f p = …, `x plus y = …) produce no node, because the rule reads the name only from a direct variable child (parsec: <|>, <?>` and 10 more missing)

• [Bug]: PEP 263 non-UTF-8 Python files are indexed (#2445) but not editable or searchable: cgr rename (and MCP rename) crashes with UnicodeDecodeError, surgical_replace_code says "Target code not found", structural_search/structural_replace skip the file silently

• [Bug]: cgr rename never edits a module's .pyi stub: renaming a Python function or method rewrites x.py and its callers but leaves x.pyi declaring the old name (graph_incomplete: false), so mypy/pyright then reject every caller (attrs: 9 .py/.pyi pairs)

• [Bug]: TypeScript/JavaScript, Go and Java: a local declared again in another block (switch cases, if/else, Go := shadowing) gets one type for the whole function, so every call through it is an exact edge to the same class; in TS which class wins varies between runs

• [Bug]: Scala: a companion object Circle is indexed as a second class Circle (Circle@<line>), so every Circle(…) INSTANTIATES both the class and the object as overload, and companion methods live under Circle@7 (os-lib: 19 companions, 108 edges into objects)

• [Bug]: Lua: a method called on a call result (Box.new(2):twice(), pickers.new(opts, {…}):find()) or on a local from a factory function (local c = make(3); c:size()) gets no CALLS edge (telescope.nvim: Picker:find has 0 of 45 callers, 48 of 50 Picker methods reported dead)

• [Bug]: dead-code reports Lua metamethods (__add, __tostring, __call, __index, …) as unreachable: the runtime invokes them through operators, tostring, calls and missing-key lookups, and only Python dunders are rooted (telescope.nvim: 19)

• [Bug]: Lua: an anonymous function nested inside M.f = function … end (a table.sort comparator, a vim.schedule callback) is registered as a second M.f (M.f@<line>), so every call to M.f fans out to it as overload (telescope.nvim: 110 closures in 79 functions, 148 false CALLS)

• [Bug]: Lua: a function re-exported by field assignment (util.warning = core.warning) is never followed: util.warning() binds by name to another module's warning (heuristic) and the real target has no callers (luarocks: 0 of 345 calls to 30 re-exports exact, 25 wrong)

• [Bug]: Lua: require("a.b") resolves only to <repo>/a/b.lua, never under lua/ (every Neovim plugin), src/ (LuaRocks) or to a/b/init.lua, so every call through the binding is heuristic and can land in another module (telescope.nvim: 0 of 899 exact, 41 wrong)

• [Feature]: explain_traceback / rank_root_causes should keep the earlier sections of a chained traceback (raise … from exc, "During handling…"): today only the last section is analysed, so the function that raised the original error is never named

• [Bug]: Python: a property-like decorator counts only when spelled property/cached_property: reads of aliased cached_property, enum.property, reify/classproperty descriptors and SQLAlchemy memoized_property members get no edge (277 of 350 uncalled), and rename rewrites only the def (exit 0, AttributeError)

• [Bug]: Java and C#: a dotted Class.method target never suffix-matches a method whose qualified name ends in its parameter list, so cgr context Beta.low (CLI and MCP) silently answers for another class's low() (commons-lang: 1,005 of 2,678 methods, gson 638 of 2,710)

• [Bug]: Java (default frontend): a call to a varargs overload with zero or several variable arguments binds exact to another overload, often the first declaration (notEmpty(s, "msg") → notEmpty(T), isTrue(c, MSG, x, y) → isTrue(boolean)) (commons-lang: 53 of 293 varargs calls)

• [Bug]: Python: a method call on any non-module receiver (value.lower(), ", ".join(xs), stream.flush(), even self.request()) binds heuristic to a module-level function of that name, imported or not (django: 870 edges; template filter join gets 360 callers, lower calls itself)

• [Bug]: Python: super(X, obj).m() never resolves to m (the class argument becomes an exact call to X.__init__, a self-loop in Python-2-style constructors), inherited lookup is breadth-first instead of C3, and super() in a mixin gets no edge (django: 0 of 34 two-argument sites, 46 mixin sites)
